Finally, when winter arrives sometime between November through February depending on where you are hunting, heavy duty insulation is the only way to go.

The next thing to consider is how much money you’re willing to spend on your jacket. The best waterfowl jackets for men can range anywhere from $100 all the way up into the thousands of dollars depending on what kind of features and bells & whistles they have but if price isn’t a huge concern for you then I would recommend buying something durable that will last because there’s nothing worse than investing in an expensive piece of equipment just before it falls apart after one season due to shoddy craftsmanship or poor quality materials.
